Congratulations if you’ve recently got engaged! Deciding to get married is a wonderful life changing decision and we are here to support you all the way.
Thank you for considering one of our churches for your wedding. This information will also help you if you would like a Thanksgiving Service or a Marriage Blessing.
What to do next
To help you and your family to organise the Wedding please get in touch by completing the Wedding Enquiry Form well in advance to avoid disappointment and a member of the ministry team will be in contact with you. Are we eligible to get married in one of the BCI Churches?
The quick answer is Yes for:
• Those who are resident in the parish. If you are not sure if you live within the parish boundary you can check using your post code.
• Those who are on the electoral role of the church
• Those who can demonstrate a ‘qualifying link’ with the parish.
Once the wedding date has been agreed the banns of marriage need to be read out in church. Please complete the Banns Enquiry Form. Scroll to the end of the form and click the Submit Enquiry button.
