Weddings in the BCI Benefice
Thank you for considering one of the churches in the BCI Benefice for your wedding. This information will also help you if you would like a Thanksgiving Service or a Marriage Blessing.
What to do next
To help you and your family to organise the Wedding we recommend you get in touch with the Benefice Office, or complete the Wedding enquiry form. Revd Vickie Morgan, Saint Hubert’s, Idsworth, or Revd Joy Windsor, Holy Trinity, Blendworth and Saint Michael and All Angels, Chalton, will be in touch with you to help you plan the day. We advise you to talk to us well in advance to avoid disappointment.
Are we eligible to get married in the BCI Benefice?
The quick answer is Yes for:
• Those who are resident in the parish
• Those who are on the electoral role of the church
• Those who can demonstrate a ‘qualifying link’ with the parish.
If you are not sure if you live within the parish boundary you can check using your post code.
Further information about a Church of England Wedding service in the BCI Benefice can be found on the CofE website.
